Saint Michael

Description:

This piece was commissioned by St. Michael’s College for placement in front of the new Hoehl Welcome Center. It was dedicated in October 2004 to three alumni who perished at the World Trade Center on 9/11. Including base it is 8 1/2′ tall and carved from Barre,VT granite. Its granite and brick base also acts as a bench.

Directions: Take Exit 15 off I 89 N. Turn right onto Rt. 15. Go about a mile to second entrance to the college. The sculpture is between the Chapel and the Welcome Center.
